NBA post season running picks

Well, haven't had a blog in awhile so I thought that I'd revise my NBA playoff picks (in progress) in response to my good friend Adam Beatrice's blog post on the same topic.

Since we're in the conference semi-finals game 3s already I'm going to cheat and pick from what I've seen so far.

Eastern Conference:
Lebron's vs Hawks: Cavs in 4

Easiest pick by far.  Not even close. It's like the Cavs are playing a NIT college team. Next pick.

Boston vs Orlando: Celtics in 7

I know that currently the Magic are up 2-1 in this series and Boston looks very venerable this round, (especially to the inside out game of the Magic) but I just can't shake the fact that the Celtics have been there done that and will some way, some how prevail.

Western Conference:

Lakers vs Rockets: Lakers in 6

So the road to the finals isn't as easy as once thought, huh LA? The Lakers are up 2-1 after tonight but I think that the Rockets toughness and defense will allow them to hang around for 6 games before Kobe decides he's ready to move on.

Denver vs Dallas: Denver in 5

Ok, before this series started I would have picked the Nuggets in 6 or 7, but after two games, wow, this series is being dominated by the Denver. Dallas may get a game at home but I think that's it.

And here is a bonus link, a spin off of those awesome NBA Playoffs commercials. Enjoy.

  1. You might want to revise the LA/Houston pick because Yao broke his foot. Also, I am really shocked that Denver has taken the first three from Dallas.

  2. I take that back. I guess Houston can win without Yao.
